Weilai Yu

Currently a Postdoc Scholar of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University, I am discovering molecular insights into the electrolyte reactivity of Li metal battery with Prof. Zhenan Bao & Prof. Yi Cui.

In 2021, I obtained my Ph.D in Chemistry at Caltech working with Prof. Nathan S. Lewis & Prof. Harry B. Gray. My thesis has established a mechanistic understanding on the stability of solar-fuel devices

In 2016, I obtained my B.S in Chemistry with the highest honor at Wuhan University. I spent the 2015 Spring semester as a visiting undergraduate student at Harvard University.
